A keyboard, fretboard or fingerboard with MIDI & a synthesizer for playing music

If you want to try before you buy, check out the Free version here:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.hottwaj.screensynth_freeScreenSynth is a keyboard, fretboard or fingerboard for playing music. You can connect to a MIDI synth app/device or use the apps internal DX7 synthesizer for sound output.Features:- Configurable note layouts based on piano/fretboard/fingerboard instruments (e.g. piano/guitar/bass/violin).- Touch force sensitive*, for piano-like control over the volume of each note played.- Drag your finger over the screen to create vibrato or bend/gliss sounds between any pair of notes. Use this to play bluesy note bends or experiment with microtunings or carnatic music.- Connect to other synthesizers (apps or devices) using MIDI output**.- Uses a low latency*** emulator for the DX7 line of synthesizers to produce a wide range of sounds. - Your own DX7 6-operator FM patches (.SYX files) can be loaded and used so you can add more instrument sounds.- Can show you how to play songs by highlighting sequences of notes that should be played.- Can import your own songs (.MIDI files) that you can then learn how to play.- No ads or data harvesting!Enjoy!*Force touch is only available if your device supports it - most phones and tables do.**Requires Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later.***Low latency audio is device dependent, but nowadays is supported by almost all devices. This release adds a proper piano layout - check it out in the Layout Menu.Extra options added for controlling note glissing in the "Effects" Menu: - control over gliss "smoothness" - enable/disable glissing between rowsAlso, you can now disable further calibration of touch force, once you have got the calibration to a level you like, using the "Touch Force" Menu.

This app is amazing, low latency, a genius implementation of force touch(the dev told me how it works and I was shocked!) And a very responsive dev, gliss smoothing force touch locking and row slide locking were all a request I made and he made it real! MIDI output is a blast and the app is actually viable for production. Thank you!

Please update the Piano layout such that only two octaves starting C3 and C4 can be displayed. I find the lower octaves of less use but to play starting C4, the lower octaves need to be displayed, which eats up screen space. tahnks

Hi Jonathan! Ur such an amazing man... Iam addicted to this app and I love the way it makes me to express my style of Indian Music...I found a sitar on the internet and it sounds so fabulous and real with the slides...the only thing I miss is the effects...can U add Delay ,Reverb and other Effects so we can make use of them too?

Hi Jonathan, i have a galaxy tab with a non 16:9 screen. The problem i am facing is that the menu won't pop-up by swiping the left edge. So Im stuck with the first settings chosen after install.. can you make a floating button for the menu, or fix the slide?

Loved this app but the maker is getting greedy. Already paid for it and now all expansions seems to demand more money. Now a recorder feature is a payable add on. Not normal practice
